Why become a member?
As a member, you get access to the various tools and support mechanisms put in place by the Quebec-Atlantic Node to develop and promote intervention research in addiction.
RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The research development program supports node members in an increasingly competitive research grant landscape. An envelope of $10,000 to $15,000 from the QA Node funds is available each year for emerging and promising projects.
PARTENERED RESEARCH FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
The node partners with other networks to provide funding towards project and protocol development in research areas that are strongly correlated with interventions in the field of addiction.
RESEARCH COMMUNICATION LOGISTICS SUPPORT
Coordinating core can support CRISM-funded and affiliated projects with their graphic design needs relevant to project execution.
SCIENTIFIC REVISION, TRANSLATION AND TRANSCRIPTION
Node members who require translation (English and French), revision, or transcription of documents directly related to one of CRISM’s priorities may contact the Coordinating core.
ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT
The CRISM Quebec-Atlantic Node supports the activities of research projects developed within its working groups (up to $3,000 per group).
METHODOLOGICAL AND BIOSTATISTICS CONSULTATIONS
In partnership with URCA (Applied Clinical Research Unit) from the CHU Sainte-Justine, the node can provide methodological expertise to RDP awardees and working groups.
